I am, at heart, a documentarian and sentimentalist. These qualities led me to earn a degree in photojournalism, and inspired me to circumnavigate the globe in an extended trip that solidified the fact that the world is out there – with its many beautiful faces and not so beautiful realities. They were all there to be experienced and remembered.
Our experiences and relationships make us who we are. It would be an honor to capture yours in an honest and unique way.
My shooting style is mostly unobtrusive and relaxed, with an eye towards unscripted moments and unique details.
About this photo:
David is my better half, the one who gets things done and keeps me on track while my head is in the clouds taking pretty pictures. He has many different roles: second shooter, office manager, accountant, cheerleader, and father to our amazing son. He teaches me to be responsible and appreciate the finer things in life, and I encourage him to have fun and find the beauty in the everyday. We learn from one another constantly, and try to remind ourselves to always be present, and to act with intention and with no regrets.
We have an amazing son Miles, born nearly 3 months premature at 2 lbs 3 oz. He teaches us that every day is a precious gift.

Beverly - LOL! Awesome. Thanks! Yeah. wow…the chair. It didn’t look that heavy at first, but I already dragged it halfway out the door before I realized that it weighed more than me. I think all that rock climbing finally paid off! Will bring a burly assistant next time for sure…
Cannonball. Now that’s a grand idea!
Anonymous - Love them, love them. i bet she does too. great depth of field and color. A good mix of color and black and white.
#3 and #4 are may favorites. How did you carry that bench out side? Must have had some help.
Anyway they look great, Dunvegan is such a great place, you can shoot there for a while and still not use it all! Cannonball in the pool for the last shot.
